Meet the Candidate

It's Me, La'Ketha

La’Ketha D. Prioleau, MSIT

Leader | Strategist | Capacity Builder | Servant Leader

La’Ketha D. Prioleau is a seasoned leader, retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel, and transformative strategist with over two decades of experience in program management, governance, and leadership development. As a proud 24-year member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, she is deeply committed to strengthening systems, empowering people, and advancing excellence through service and sisterhood.

Professionally, La’Ketha serves as a Program Manager and Chief of Staff for the government, where she oversees a large directorate spanning communications, launch, contracts, and financial management. Her expertise in acquisitions, strategic planning, and organizational effectiveness has earned her recognition as a trusted leader who builds capacity and delivers measurable results.

In Zeta, Soror Prioleau most recently served as the 15th State Director for the Commonwealth of Virginia, leading more than 40 chapters and auxiliaries. Under her administration, Virginia achieved a 19.1% membership increase, maintained 100% active undergraduate chapters, restored 16 of 17 revoked 990 statuses, and hosted two statewide conferences serving over 450 members—all executed within budget. She also established the Torchbearers’ Memorial Scholarship Foundation, raising $15,000 in six months to fund educational opportunities for deserving students.

A former International Phylacter and Presiding Officer for the 2024 Grand Boulé, La’Ketha’s leadership has shaped governance, parliamentary education, and operational excellence across the sisterhood. She created the Zeta Parli-Pearlz community—an online platform of 3,800+ members dedicated to governance education—and has trained hundreds of Sorors nationwide in parliamentary procedure, compliance, and ethical leadership.

La’Ketha’s philosophy of F.I.N.E.R. Leadership—Fearless, Intentional, Noble, Empowering, and Responsive defines her approach: lead boldly, act with purpose, serve with humility, and always keep the mission at heart.

With dual bachelor’s degrees from Louisiana State University–Shreveport, an MBA from the University of Phoenix, and a Master of Science in Information Technology from North Carolina A&T State University, La’Ketha embodies excellence in both scholarship and service.

She believes that governance is not just oversight—it is outreach.

And through her leadership, she continues to build bridges across generations, inspire collaboration, and ensure that every Soror has a voice, a vision, and a seat at the table.
